Terms and Conditions for SR Tours

Welcome to SR Tours. By booking a tour package or utilizing our travel services through our website, WhatsApp, phone, or in person, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Booking and Reservation Policy
- Initial Deposit: To secure a booking for any tour package (e.g., Shimla, Manali, Kullu), a minimum advance payment of 50% of the total tour cost must be paid.
- Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once the advance payment is received and a formal booking confirmation voucher is issued by SR Tours via Email or WhatsApp.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full either on the first day of arrival before check-in. Failure to pay the balance within the stipulated time may result in booking cancellation without a refund.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel your booking, the cancellation request must be sent to us in writing via email or WhatsApp. The following cancellation charges apply based on when the request is received:
- Cancellation 30 days or more before arrival: full refund minus processing fees.
- Cancellation 15 to 29 days before arrival: 30% of the total advance payment will be charged.
- Cancellation 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total package cost will be charged.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival / No Show: 100% of the total package cost will be charged (No Refund).
Note: Refunds can take up to 7-10 working days to process back to your original payment method.
3. Changes and Modifications to Itineraries
- By the Customer: Any requests for changes to a confirmed itinerary (change of dates, hotel upgrade, extra rooms) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges from hotels or transport vendors.
- By the Company: SR Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries, hotel accommodations, or transport routing in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as heavy snowfall, landslides, roadblocks, political strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, alternative arrangements of similar value will be provided.
4. Forced Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
- SR Tours is not liable for any delays, cancellations, injuries, or losses caused by natural disasters, extreme weather conditions (e.g., cloudbursts or avalanches in Himachal Pradesh), acts of god, pandemics, wars, strikes, or sudden government regulatory changes.
- Any extra costs incurred due to unexpected extensions of stay, extra transportation, or route modifications caused by these events will be borne directly by the customer.
5. Travel Documents and Permissions
- Identity Proof: All travelers must carry valid government-issued photo ID cards (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID). For children, school IDs or birth certificates are mandatory.
- Special Permits: Certain destinations like Rohtang Pass require special government permits. While SR Tours will assist in applying for these permits, their issuance depends entirely on government quotas and weather conditions. If permits are denied by authorities, SR Tours cannot be held responsible.
6. Adventure Activities Liability Disclaimer
- Our tour packages may include or offer optional adventure sports such as River Rafting, Paragliding, Zorbing, Skiing, or Trekking.
- Participating in these activities is completely voluntary and carries inherent risks. SR Tours acts solely as a facilitator and is not liable for any accidents, injuries, medical emergencies, or loss of life resulting from participation in adventure sports run by local vendors.
7. Customer Behavior and Responsibilities
- Travelers are expected to maintain proper decorum and respect local culture and guidelines throughout the trip.
- SR Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any individual whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or poses a danger to co-travelers, drivers, or service providers. No refunds will be given in such cases.
- Any damage caused by a guest to hotel property or vehicles during the tour will be charged directly to the customer by the respective vendor.
8. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the services provided by SR Tours shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Rohini, Sankrail, Jhargram, West Bengal, India.
